Coking wastewater treatment method

 

1 Activated sludge method

The process of activated sludge treatment of coking phenol-containing wastewater is as follows: the wastewater is pretreated, that is, degreasing, mixing and cooling, and then enters the aeration tank, and then enters the secondary sedimentation tank for solid-liquid separation after aeration.

 

After treatment, the concentration of phenol in the wastewater can be reduced to about 0.5mg/g. The wastewater is sent back to be recycled or used for coke quenching. Part of the activated sludge is returned to the aeration tank, and the remaining part is concentrated and decolorized.


2 Preprocessing

 

The pretreatment methods before biological treatment are usually physical and chemical methods, such as air flotation method, stripping method, coagulation sedimentation method, breaking point chlorination method, etc.

 

The main purpose is to make the influent water of the secondary biochemical treatment process reach the range of biochemical treatment. In the pretreatment process, the stripping method is mainly used for ammonia distillation, and the air flotation method is used for oil removal.

 

3 Bio-iron method

 

The biological iron method is an enhanced biological treatment method that adds iron salt in the aeration tank to increase the activated sludge degree of the aeration tank and give full play to the biological oxidation and biological flocculation.

 

The process of this method includes pretreatment, biochemical treatment and physicochemical treatment of wastewater.

 

4 Charcoal-Biological

 

Due to overloaded operation or other reasons, the treated water quality of some biochemical treatment units in coking plants cannot meet the standard.
