Sources of ammonia nitrogen wastewater

The way of nitrogen - containing substances entering water environment mainly includes natural process and human activities.

1. The natural sources and processes of water environment mainly include precipitation and dust removal, non-urban runoff and biological nitrogen fixation.

2. Human activities mainly include untreated or treated urban living and industrial wastewater, various leachate and surface runoff, etc.

Among them, synthetic chemical fertilizers are the main source of nitrogen nutrients in water bodies, and a large number of nitrogen compounds not used by crops are mostly brought into groundwater and surface water by farmland drainage and surface runoff.

With the development of petroleum, chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries, as well as the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the content of ammonia nitrogen in municipal sewage and landfill leachate has risen sharply.

Biological method is to use the synergistic action of a variety of microorganisms, through a series of reactions such as ammonification, nitrification, denitrification, ammonia nitrogen in wastewater is finally converted into nitrogen, and it will be discharged from the body.  For the removal of ammonia nitrogen in wastewater, core technology research and development team has developed nitrifying bacteria, ammonia nitrogen removal bacteria (liquid) and ammonia nitrogen removal bacteria (solid), mixed with enzymes and nutrients, mostly used in high ammonia nitrogen industrial wastewater and aquaculture wastewater.
