Product Description:

The treatment method of oily wastewater can be divided into physicochemical method, chemical method and biological method according to its composition and principle of action, but each method has its limitations. In practical application, several methods are usually combined and classified to achieve good oil removal effect.

1. Activated sludgemethod

Activated sludge method is based on activated sludge as the main body, using microorganisms to form bacterial micelles to adsorb and flocculate the dissolved oil in wastewater. Under aerobic conditions, the bacteria make the dissolved oil in wastewater into its own components, or oxidize them into CO2 and H2O, so as to achieve the purpose of wastewater purification.  The activated sludge process has been widely used because of its flexible operation mode, high efficiency and low cost.

2. Biological filter method

The biofilter method is also widely used in the treatment of oily wastewater. It is used to decompose organic matter in wastewater by microorganisms.

The main development trend of oil-bearing wastewater treatment technology should focus on the following aspects:

(1) Develop new materials, such as new membranes and efficient flocculants.

(2) The single treatment method is used in combination with classification to avoid its limitations and achieve high efficiency oil removal.

(3) Pay attention to clean production, reduce pollution from the source, and pay attention to the reuse of reclaimed water.
