Steel plant wastewater characteristics
Iron and steel plant wastewater is generally industrial wastewater containing volatile phenols, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and heterocyclic compounds such as oxygen, sulfur, and nitrogen in the process of high-temperature dry distillation, purification and by-product recovery of coking and coal gas.
It is an industrial organic wastewater that is easily accompanied by heavy metals exceeding the standard and is difficult to treat.

2 Client needs
The aluminum ion of the plant needs to be reduced to below 0.5PPM, and the cost needs to be controlled at the same time. In addition, other by-products generated by the reaction of the chemical have little impact on the discharge of the standard.

3 On-site debugging status
According to the feedback from the engineers, the on-site water quality is relatively complicated, and when the coking wastewater is not properly treated, it will exceed the standard.
Since the plant is a new sewage station, it is now in the transition period of construction. The heavy metal scavenger is mainly used for emergency treatment during this period.

Experimental results
The experimental results of the pictures show that when the dosage of aluminum ions is 100PPM (adding 0.1kg of heavy metal scavenger per ton of wastewater), the aluminum ions can be controlled within 0.5mg/L.
5 heavy metal scavenger
The heavy metal scavenger chelates heavy metal ions through a variety of chelating groups to produce a hydrophobic structure for precipitation, and significantly improves the precipitation speed and removal rate through flocculation and net capture, thereby getting rid of the shortcomings of linear chelation precipitation.
