Control of MBBR operation process
Control of MBBR influencing factors
In the process of biofilm reactor, the main controlling factors include temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, MLSS, etc.
1)Temperature
Biofilm reactor system should be operated at 15℃ ~ 35℃.
2)Dissolved Oxygen
Dissolved oxygen is an important factor affecting the removal of organic matter. Especially in the case of phosphorus and nitrogen removal, the concentration control of dissolved oxygen is particularly important. In different types of biofilm reactor processes, the mixture forms aerobic, anoxic and anaerobic segments in various forms in the biological reaction tank. The DO control range of each section of the reaction tank is as follows: the anaerobic section is below 0.2mg/L, the anoxic section is between 0.2mg/L and 0.5mg/L, and the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the aerobic section should not be less than 2mg/L.
3)MLSS
Sludge concentration in aerobic zone (pool) of MBBR should be controlled between 3000mg/L and 20000mg/L. Generally speaking, when the sludge concentration in the feed liquid increases, the sludge is easy to deposit on the surface of the biofilm to form a thick sludge layer due to the high sludge concentration. However, the sludge concentration in the feed liquid should not be too low, otherwise the degradation rate of pollutants is low, and the adsorption and degradation ability of activated sludge to dissolved organic matter is weakened, so that the concentration of dissolved organic matter in the supernatant of the mixed liquid is increased. Therefore, moderate sludge concentration should be maintained in the feed liquid. Too high or too low will reduce the water flux.
4)PH
The influent pH of MBBR reactor should be 6 ~ 9.
MBBR biochemical process control
1)When the influent water temperature is lower than 8℃, the activity of activated sludge is affected to a certain extent. At this time, the water yield should be properly reduced to ensure that the organic matter in sewage can be fully degraded in the reaction tank, so as to ensure the quality of effluent water.
2)In the season of abrupt temperature change, we should pay special attention to the effluent water quality. If the effluent water quality has sudden change, we should reduce the appropriate amount of water and increase the aeration time.
3)During normal operation, disinfectants and disinfectants that have an inhibitory effect on microbial metabolism should be avoided to mix into the biological reaction tank. Prevent the normal biological mechanism of microorganisms in the equipment from being damaged, resulting in the deterioration of water discharge.
4)When the sewage contains a large number of synthetic detergent or other foaming substances, the biofilm reaction tank will appear a large number of bubbles, at this time can take the method of spraying water to solve, but do not add to the reaction tank containing oily substances to remove the foam. Also do not use silicone series defoamer.
