What are the methods of biological treatment of chemical wastewater?
Biochemical method (referred to as biochemical method) uses all kinds of bacteria and microorganisms existing in nature to decompose organic matter in wastewater into harmless substances, so that wastewater can be purified. Raw water → grid → regulating pool → contact oxidation pool → sedimentation → filtration → disinfection → effluent. Biochemical methods can be divided into activated sludge method, biofilm method, biological oxidation tower, land treatment system, anaerobic biological treatment method and other methods. Activated sludge process (1) Air blast aeration: that is, exhaust flow aeration, the compressed air is constantly blown into the wastewater, to ensure that there is a certain amount of dissolved oxygen in the water, to maintain the life activities of microorganisms, decompose organic matter in the water, in order to achieve the effect of sewage purification. (2) Mechanical aeration: that is, surface aeration, using the mechanical impeller installed in the aeration tank to rotate, vigorously agitate the water surface, so that the oxygen in the air is dissolved in the water, for microbial life activities, biochemical action to achieve the effect of sewage purification. (3) Pure oxygen aeration: it is blowing pure oxygen into the water according to the blast aeration method, so as to improve the oxygenation efficiency and accelerate the speed of sewage purification. (4) Deep well aeration: Generally, an aeration device with a diameter of 0.5~6.0m and a depth of 50~60m is used to improve the transfer rate of oxygen in water by water pressure, so as to improve its purification efficiency.
2. Biofilm method (1) Biological filter: make the wastewater flow through the biofilm growing on the surface of the filter material, through the material exchange and biochemical action between the two sides, make the organic matter in the wastewater degradation, to achieve the purpose of purification. (2) Biological turntable: it is composed of a number of closely spaced disks fixed on a horizontal axis. A biofilm grows on the rotating disk surface to purify wastewater. (3) biological contact oxidation: all the fillers for microbial attachment are immersed in the wastewater, and the use of machinery and equipment to fill the air into the wastewater, so that the organic matter in the wastewater degradation, to purify the wastewater. 3 Biological oxidation tower A natural or artificial pond in which wastewater is treated by aerobic or anaerobic organisms, such as algae and aquatic plants. 4. Land treatment system (1) Land percolation: the purification ability of microorganisms in soil membrane and plant roots to pollutants (filtration, adsorption, microbial decomposition, etc.) is used to treat domestic sewage, and the water and fertilizer in sewage are used to promote the growth of crops, herbage and trees. (2) Sewage irrigation: the main purpose is irrigation to make full use of the purified sewage. 5. Anaerobic biological treatment Using Anaerobic Microorganisms (such as methane microorganisms) to decompose organic matter in sewage, achieve the purpose of water purification, while producing methane gas, CO2 and other gases. Anaerobic biochemical treatment is mainly used to treat high concentration organic wastewater and nitrification of sludge.
