Methods of use of nitrifying bacteria

1. Use method

(1) First put several fish in the aquarium, and then gradually increase the number of fish after the nitrifying bacteria mature. If the nitrifying bacteria are urgently needed, you can directly buy the finished nitrifying bacteria in the market, and then put them into the aquarium.

(2) Nitrifying bacteria can be divided into live bacteria and dormant bacteria, and a good ecological environment can be established after about 5 days of use.

2. Matters needing attention

(1) Nitrifying bacteria should not be used together with disinfectants and fungicides. When using fungicides (or other agents) to treat fish diseases, it is necessary to wait for more than 7 days before adding water-purifying bacteria.

(2) Nitrifying bacteria have a wide salt, so it can be used with salt, but attention should be paid to control the concentration of salt, to avoid the biological activity of nitrifying bacteria affected.

(3) Nitrifying bacteria can be added when the cylinder is opened, and regular water quality maintenance is also required. Under normal circumstances, it can be added once every 7-14 days.

(4) After the use of nitrifying bacteria, the water quality will be completely stable for 3-5 days, so it cannot be used until the water quality deteriorates.
