Home Products Sewage Treatment Bacteria Aquaculture Wastewater Treatment Cleaning Ammonia Nitrogen in Wastewater
Pig-raising wastewater contains high concentrations of organic matter, suspended solids, ammonia nitrogen and other pollutants. The treatment process of wastewater in larger pig-raising enterprises usually adopts biochemical treatment process, but its water quality and quantity are affected by the production process season and production factors. However, the removal efficiency of ammonia nitrogen by the process is still not ideal.
Ammonia nitrogen treatment of pig farm wastewater
The situation of pig farms
1. Industry type: pig farm
2. Daily water volume: about 2000 cubic meters
3. Ammonia nitrogen concentration: 50~60ppm
4. Standard concentration: 15ppm
二. After using ammonia nitrogen remover
Add ammonia nitrogen remover and conduct water quality testing. The following are the data results of the water sample dosing experiment in this plant:
Ammonia nitrogen remover addition amount (ppm) |
Ammonia nitrogen concentration (mg/l) |
pH value |
0 (raw water) |
60.50 |
8.33 |
300 |
29.76 |
7.98 |
500 |
10.21 (up to standard) |
7.55 |
According to the test results of ammonia nitrogen remover, ammonia nitrogen can be controlled below 15mg/L when the dosage of ammonia nitrogen is 500ppm (adding 0.5kg of ammonia nitrogen remover per ton of wastewater).
Moreover, the ammonia nitrogen remover can be directly added into the sedimentation tank of the original process, and the reaction time of the agent is about 5-6 minutes, which greatly reduces the time and cost, and the pig farmer can raise pigs with confidence.
