Denitrification process

1. Traditional process of activated sludge denitrification

The traditional biological method is to convert ammonia nitrogen in wastewater into nitrogen through a series of reactions such as nitrification and denitrification under the action of various microorganisms to achieve the purpose of wastewater treatment. These processes include three-step activated sludge process and two-step activated sludge denitrification process.

2. Anaerobic aerobic activated sludge denitrification system (A/O method)

Anaerobic aerobic activated sludge denitrification system (A/O method) was established in the early 1980s and has been widely used. Compared with two-stage activated sludge method, this method places the anoxic denitrification reactor in front of the aerobic reactor, so it is usually called "pre denitrification biological denitrification system".

3. Oxidation ditch process

Due to the operation process characteristics of the oxidation ditch, aerobic zone and anoxic zone will be formed at different parts of the reaction ditch, so that the activated sludge in the oxidation ditch will pass through the aerobic zone and anoxic zone respectively, so the biological nitrogen desorption function can be realized.

4. Biological rotary table biological denitrification process

Control the working conditions of each level of biological turntable to make it in aerobic and hypoxic state respectively, that is, aerobic biological turntable and anaerobic biological turntable need to be used in the whole process and realized on different aerobic biological turntables. Biochemical oxygen demand and nitrification of ammonia nitrogen. In anaerobic biological turntable, nitrogen removal is mainly realized. This principle is similar to the three-stage activated sludge biological denitrification process mentioned above, with the difference that the realization of all functions in this process depends on the biological turntable.
