Aerobic microbial treatment

Aerobic microbial treatment processes mainly include:

1 activated sludge method, has the advantages of high processing capacity, good effluent quality.  The method mainly consists of aeration tank, sedimentation tank, sludge reflux and surplus sludge discharge system.  The waste water and the returned activated sludge enter the aeration tank to form the mixture.  Aeration tank is a biological reactor, through the aeration equipment filled with air, oxygen in the air dissolved into the mixture, aerobic metabolism reaction, and make the mixture liquid enough to stir and suspension state, so that the organic matter in the wastewater, oxygen and microorganisms can fully contact reaction.  Then the mixture enters the sedimentation tank, and the suspended solids in the mixture sink down in the sedimentation tank and are separated from the water, and the purified water flows out of the sedimentation tank.  In addition to the ability of oxidation and decomposition of organic matter, activated sludge also has good condensation and sedimentation performance, so that the activated sludge can be separated from the mixture and get clear water.

(2) Biofilm method, that is, using biofilm formed by microorganisms attached to the surface of solid carrier to remove dissolved organic pollutants in wastewater.  Biofilm method can be divided into drop filter method (or biological filter), biological rotary table method, contact oxidation method and fluidized bed biofilm method.
